Eleanor Surajballi

Eleanor obtained her law degree from Bond University, in beautiful Queensland, Australia after first obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree, double majoring in Political Science and English Literature from the University of British Columbia. During law school, Eleanor actively volunteered her time with several large pro-bono legal aid services including the Queensland Public Interest Law Clearing House (“QPILCH”) and Tenants Queensland. In her second year of law school, Eleanor interned with a mid-tier firm in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Eleanor was called to the Queensland Bar in 2013 and practiced with a non-profit organization prior to accepting a position the Residential Tenancies Authority. Since being called to the British Columbia bar in 2020, Eleanor has developed a keen interest in Family Law, and is passionate about advocating for her clients and in the best interests of the child, in the most efficient and least conflictual manner.In her spare time, Eleanor enjoys exploring BC with her Welsh Pembroke Corgi Milo and baking up a storm for friends and family.
